Last night on the awards show Chris Brown did a tribute to Michael.

I was watching the awards with my mom and sister. We were up dancing and having a good time! I looooved the smooth criminal part. That was HOTTT. *randy jackson voice* LOL
When it was time for him to sing "man in the mirror" I noticed his voice was cracking and I looked and he looked like he was crying. It was very emotional to see him try to get through that. My mom, sister and I all started tearing up.
I won't comment on Chris' actions last year but I will say I am not here to judge him and act like I'm holier than thou. I've made mistakes too so I know what it's like to disappoint people and mess up. That was obviously a very emotional moment for him and I loved it. He's human and the lyrics of the song were so fitting for what he's been through the past year and a half from his own actions.
That performance was his redemption and I know MJ was pleased too.
omg and I LOVED Tyrese singing Teddy Pendergrass! I heard on the Tom Joyner Morning show that Tyrese is playing TP in a movie. That's great! I would've loved to see Jaheim do a song because he does Teddy Pendergrass justice too.
I also loved the "mini" Love Jones reunion. Nia Long looked amazing and Larenz Tate   That's one of my favorite movies so it was great.
Queen Latifah was a great host! The BET Awards have been sucking for the past few years but this was one of the better ones.
Nothing beats the BET Awards '04 with Kanye/Yolanda Adams opening with Jesus Walks and Monique doing the Crazy in Love dance!! Classic!!
Oh yes, I love love love Kanye's new song Power!! and EL DEBARGE!!! He sounded amazing.

I agree Terri with everything you said. Chris Brown is amazing. He's a great artist and entertainer. 2009 and 2010 BET Awards re-aired this past weekend. Tyrese, yes ma'am.
