Elliott hedged on my question on whether he'll be performing on the finale--said we'd have to wait and see. I think it caught him by surprise.

^^^ He may be bound by an agreement....and he probably wasn't supposed to say anything at all. But, I love that he's excited. Because I don't think he would be that up if he was just sitting in the audience.

I also asked the question about how he felt about the crowd's reaction to his NA on Wednesday. He gave some new information-- singing the NA for the Angels next Monday and Friday. He must be estactic!!!

I also love that he admits that he "killed it" at the Lakers game. :)

HI Yall, That was a short, but Emazin interview!!!! Elliott always sounds great!!!! I know this finale involves Elliott is some way! I think Elliott will be singin or something like that!!!! It's great Elliott's still involved with AI since he was on the show back in 2006!!!! I can't wait to see Elliott back on AI on Wednesday!!!!

It was a live interview and a type-in chat room room run by a different member of the staff. There were only 3 of us (2 guests and I) in the chat room for most of the interview. I was thw only one who asked any questions and the chatroom host quickly relayed them to the interviewer. It was fun.

They'll have a downloadable podcast available on iTunes (free) and the inteview up on their web page so I guess we'll just have to keep checking.

Thank you OFE! That was great - I thought the interviewers were totally boring, but in a way that was a good thing - Elliott was able to go on and on like he loves to do, and he did all the talking! Ty - what do you mean, it was short - it was over 20 minutes of Elliott! :) And he mentioned a Christmas tour? I wonder if that means a radio tour or ... ? And finally, YES - I think Elliott has got to be performing on results night - why else would he be so elusive about it. PLEASE let it be so!!!

I listened to the Kevin Covais interview while I was waiting for Elliott, so I knew what to expect from the interviewers. My guess is that they are young and haven't had the experience to develop confidence in leading a conversation instead of asking short, pointed questions.

Christmas tour? I totally missed that while I was listening live and again when I listened to the podcast.

I'm surprised that we haven't been hearing leaks about the finale. It seems that in past years we had rumors swirling about who the guests would be. Or have they been swirling but not in my direction?

If this is correct, I wonder if the Idol alums will sing or just appear.

I think he said "Christmas tour" at around 9:40 on the podcast, unless I misheard it - the audio was a little fuzzy. He also mentioned he'd love to release as a single the song that was used in his IGB footage, so that would mean Doorway - wouldn't that be great? I'd love it.

I really, really hope Elliott gets a haircut and shaves before he is on Wednesday. I adore Elliott, but I like the shorter hair and trimmed beard Elliott when he's on TV. Some cool clothes would be nice too.

I'm really praying that he will be singing finale night. I can't wait to see him!! :yummy:

Elliott looks more like a slacker than a well-dressed, hip R&B artist imo. Aside from the aviator glasses, which are sort of stale at this point, he could be anybody on the street. Nothing really "A" list about him. Sorry, but that's how I see it. Given his rather short stature, he should be making up for it with loads of trendy clothes.

But I predict that Elliott will show up at tonight's Angel's game wearing jeans, plaid shirt and chucks.

I agree with the comments - while I'm sure he may not want or need a professional stylist, he should concentrate a little more on this presentation, y'know? I mean, I'd love him no matter what he wears (t-shirt and jeans are fine) but when you are trying to cultivate a following wouldn't it be wise the spruce it up a bit...be filet mignon instead of a big mac??? He is a gorgeous man...captialize on it! JMHO!!! I hope that he gets an opportunity to perform. I know AI has had him perform more than any other finalist but I think they owe him for the Idol Gives Back snub when they didn't even speak to him...just a wave from the audience...OMG! We'll see I guess.

I think most of the time he fits in with wherever he is. Most of the people at a ballgame or in clubs are in jeans and tshirts. He cleans up nicely when he needs to.

^^ Understood Rooney. But he's not a member of the audience, he's the performer. It wouldn't take much to turn it up a notch without looking totally ridiculous or remaining comfortable. (imo)

I have to agree about the aviator sunglasses being "stale;" that's the perfect word!

I thought I read somewhere that the sunglasses were prescription and helped him with glare. Could be wrong. However, he's not the only one to wear sunglasses, at least his aren't dark to where you can't see his eyes. As far as the other comments, I respect them but disagree. IMO, Elliott is being Elliott, why do people want him to be something other than that. Take him for who he is. That's my 2 cents.
