".....graduation's almost HE__RE my love..."

One of my favorite parts of Elliott's rendition.

Elliott did Al Jarreau's jazzier version of "Teach Me Tonight" that night. Although Elliott's version was obviously a "watered down" version of Al's version....lol yet it was still great.

^^ Aw thanks for that. Love Al Jarreau.

When I lived in SoCAL my best friend and I were out walking her dog and this man walking towards us stops and says, "what's the dog's name?"

"Fifi" we replied.

Then, yes, believe it!!, Mr. Al Jarreau broke out in song to serenade "Fifi." We just stood there with big smiles on our faces and enjoyed the moment. Said so long, and walked on.

He just seems like a really great guy who enjoys life.

Wow!!! Great story. Mr. Jarreau does enjoy life. He is one that will never sing a song the same way twice. His unique vocal acrobatics are one in a million. The singer Kem(Owens) is often compared to Al Jarreau.

^^ No kidding!! We were no more than two miles away from the ever popular Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake, near Ventura Blvd. in Studio City.
