I have updated my web page with the interviews I have captured since last Saturday. The newest one (today, March 2) is from the LA Fox station. I purposefully left in a bit on the news report following Elliott's interview because it is relevant to Elliott's decision to remain in Santadiego instead of driving to get a flight elsewhere. I kept it has a video file instead of just capturing the audio because it helped me to see the gravity of the situation while watching the background video.

I added the LA Fox file, along with the Kidd Kraddick file from yesterday, to my webpage with the other files I captured:

I'm trying some new software and the video-audio might be a little out of sync but since it's a phone interview, it shouldn't be much of a distraction. It's a large file and will take a while to download to your computer.

Wow, thanks everyone, for the links to the official websites. I'm about to log into my server account and change all of my links to the official ones posted here.

It may be convenient (and sometimes necessary if the original source doesn't post the interview and we want to share it), but it is much better for Elliott if we provide links to the original source instead of making copies or copying and pasting articles on the Etrain. Websites keep track of the number of hits each entry gets. If you listen to my copy instead of going to the website, then that's one less hit for Elliott and therefore a decrease in his popularity score. The same is true for news articles and blogs. I just have to learn to be more patient before I post a link to anything I captured. :)

OFE, I as do all of us on etrain, appreciate all the vids and audio you've managed to capture. Sometimes the original source doesn't post them. thank you :grouphug:

The point that I was trying to make is, that as long as the original source is still available, it is much better to provide the link to that source in order to improve Elliott's "popularity score."

I absolutely agree. And it's best if we save direct links. Most of the time they stay there, but are hidden.

eta: I try to keep those vids on my computer by downloading them from my cache.
