Idol gives back airs April 21st

Did you capture it? I think I had the volume too high but I was afraid to change it midstream. Also since there was such a large gap between the two parts, I recorded it in two sections that need major editing. I'll do it if necessary, but I'm really hoping you or someone else has it.

But the really big news is that he and Kara are working on a song which he hopes to perform on the show. Woohoo.

I listened to the interview and it had to be live as he was talking about he and Kara having to get on the plane in a couple of hours. Also he said that he would be in Richmond, VA in March and that he may be performing, but advised to keep checking back for confirmed dates. Elliott just ROCKS!! :awe:

"Kara and I have actually talked about the idea of writing a song when we get back from Africa and record it before the show comes around so that we have the opportunity to be able to perform it on the show."

I'm glad you got to it first because I'm too lazy to try to get Elliott's exact words. :) He and Kara are at least talking about it but there are many potential pitfalls in making it happen. OMG Elliott & Kara are writing a song for "Idol Gives Back"!!!! If Elliott says it most likely it will happen. Elliott never ever likes to let us all down!!!! I hear Elliott will be back in Richmond Virgina on March 1st & he says hes goin to do some shows there!!!! I know this year Elliott's coming out with an Acoustic EP & a new studio album & a new concert tour!!!! I think the new song Elliott & Kara are writing together they will perform it live on the "Idol Gives Back" show on April 21. Thats how I understood it. I wonder what the title of there new song will be? Is Elliott & Kara going to sing it together or just Elliott? I guess we will have to wait & see come April 21! Kinda funny how people here it differently. LOL I got that he's going to be in Richmond March 1st and then back in the studio. I didn't get that he's going to be doing shows at that time but rather that he will be coming back to Richmond to do some shows and hopefully will have new music by then or something like that. If you think about it, March 1st is only a couple of weeks away so that's kind of tight. However, I've been wrong before. LOL

Also we know that he had to have called in yesterday because he and Kara hadn't boarded the plane yet. They just aired it today is what I think.

And I got the impression that he was going to be back in LA on March 1 and then in the studio. He said "I'll be back home on March 1" so I assumed he meant back in LA and that he would be back in Richmond at some time in the future.

HI Yall, I'm not sure if Elliott will be going to LA then to Ricmond, VA on or about March 1st or if E's going straight from Chile to Richmond, VA? I heard he's doin some concerts there in Virgina. I hope its not cancelled again. I'm workin very close with Elliott & his Management to get Elliott here to Sacramento, CA for a concert.

HI Yall, Yes I believe Elliotts interview on 103.7 The Mix was live with Elliott on the phone a few hours before his flight. our time the interview was at 4:30 AM P.S.T. so Elliott must of been tired!!!!Elliott's really not a morning person, but he's learned to become a morning person with this kind of job. I'm sure Elliott had his Starbucks right with him!!!!

It is my understanding that E will be in Richmond around the 1st. Evidently, he arrives in Chile on the 22nd, performs at the Festival on the 23rd and 25th. If he goes on he will perform again Saturday and Sunday. Love to see Elliott in Richmond.......at The National! ...Just dreaming about that one! :awe: :awe:

IMO, the call had to have happened yesterday because he flew out of Houston yesterday on an 18 hour flight and in the interview he said they were leaving in 2 hours. You can get a time line from his own tweets. Fight left Houston at 3pm according to his tweetpic. Just sayin... No way could he have called in this morning. They aired yesterday's call this morning, so technically it wasn't live today but taped. :)

HI Yall, I believe on 2/16/10 Elliott flew to Houston from LA & I believe its a 2 hr flight & then Elliott flew out of Houston on an 18 hr flight. So it seems Elliott was talking to the radio station in Richmond, VA by phone in LA before he left for Houston. Yes Elliott will compete in the International Singing Competition on Feb. 23, 25, 27 & 28 because Elliott will WIN like YAMIN it & bring home the GOLD to The United States!!!!

I looked at the National's schedule and both Ben Folds and Amos Lee are playing there, but latter part of March. Elliott twittered once about Amos Lee with consideration about opening for him. Both of these acts show with "special guest". I SO need my Elliott fix!!
