There were a couple, but yow, this is gonna be a loooong season without Paula, despite her floopiness.

lol, i knew people were gonna pick up on that song. it was particularly catchy.

in any case, there were some pretty good talents there. the one that stood out to me the most was that girl who sang "blue skies". i think there ought to be a real jazz idol. we have too much of the rocker, diva, and country crooners archetypes every season.

speaking of country though, i'm glad they put that girl from vordone. she has quite a compelling story. although i agree with simon -- she has to learn to be tough or else hollywood week is gonna kill her.

HI Yall, You know this season of American Idol just isn't as exciting as season 5. I remember I couldn't wait to see what they were going to sing on the next week of AI back on season 5. We all know who the best Idol is in the history of American Idol our Funky White Boy Elliott Yamin!!!! In the first 2 episodes of AI auditions no one I mean no one sounds as good as "DA MAN" Elliott Yamin!!!! First we loss Paula Abdul & know this will be the last year for Simon Cowell. Simon turn down $144 million to stay on AI. Next year AI will not be the same without Paula & Simon!!!! Elliott said watching AI in Boston will bring back alot of memories for him!!!! It would be great if they ask Elliott back on AI to peform.

i don't remember wheeler's audition. i do remember katelyn's and katie's. hmm...so andrew's pinoy? let's hope he brings it. methinks the judges will push for a female winner this season.

I don't remember Alex Lambert's audition. Is he related to Adam?

There are still 3 more audition shows (Pasadina CA, Arlington TX, and Denver CO) to go. Alex Lambert is from TX so I'm thinking we'll see him next Wednesday.

oh please, not howard stern. i didn't see the episode where neil patrick harris was guest judge but i've read the reviews and everyone seems to think he did a super job. i hope there are clips on youtube. i also actually like kara but i really really loved ellen!

i noticed too that paige dechause got booted out last night. so i guess the spoiler list on the top 24 isn't 100% accurate after all.
