I read this about Bobby McFerrin - "His song, "Don't Worry Be Happy," went to #1 on the U.S. charts September of 1988. He then won the Grammy for "best Male Pop Vocalist," "Best Song," and "Record of the Year." To his dismay and without permission, "Don't Worry Be Happy" was used in George Bush's reelection campaign."

We went out for ice cream after a game and I had the opportunity to sit with him. He was very nice but quiet - and I remember being tongue-tied - didn't quite know what to talk about with him! His wife Debbie is very friendly - I liked her a lot.
