I will be watching once again. The first time it aired I know I watched it everytime it came on (at least 4 times). I always knew of Donny Hathaway (This Christmas, Someday We'll All Be Free and all of the Roberta Flack duets) but thanks to Elliott I was compelled to dwell into him even more. This man was pure Genius at best. Upon purchasing alot of Donny's albums I was just blown away at how much Donny had to have influenced Elliott. I don't know what you call them but Donny has these little soulful heartfelt moans in his songs and I swear when Elliott sings he does the same thing. It's almost scary....seriously lol. It's funny though how Elliott sounds more like Stevie Wonder another great influence of his. Donny left this world too soon and was able to accomplish so much in his short life. Everybody please try and watch and thanks Terri for the reminder.

Omg! How true!!! I swear Elliott is the reincarnation of Donny!

The first time I met Elliott, I brought a cover of one of Donny h's cds, and asked E if he would mind signing it, since I thought he sounded so much like him, that it was scary. He said"thank you , I would be honored"
Darn! I forgot to watch the show last night, I was too busy watching the Giants self destruct.
Hope it's on again

I usually don't believe in reincarnation or stuff like that but it makes one wonder. Donny died so young at 34 yrs. of age and there was so much left of him to give to the world. However, in those short years he was able to accomplish so much through his singing, playing, arranging and conducting but yet he still was Unsung(not honored or praised). If that isn't a parallel to Elliott's career??? He's working his behind off and is so great at what he does but never seems to get the recognition that he so deserves just like Mr. Donny Hathaway. True fans know the brilliance of these two great men.
