Daisy - I love his voice too!!! Was so excited to see he was working with Russell - maybe we'll hear an Elliott/Anoop collaboration. The vocals are beautiful on "Make Love", but I'd really like to hear a studio version of "Give In To Her Love". Wonder how long we'll have to wait to hear "Not Like This".

Hey everyone!

Wanted to keep you updated on goings on in Los Angeles. I've had a productive couple weeks in my new surroundings. Last night I was in the studio with my buddy and fellow Idol alum Brandon Rogers and Russ Ali (google him) working on a new track called "Not Like This". I'm really excited about this one. When its done I'll be sure to put it up here for y'all. Also working with a few other people around LA and David Mikush who is based in Atlanta on some new music. This is going to be the stuff that makes up the demo that I'll be shopping to record companies in the very very near future. For now, I'm out here grindin.

I actually loved his cover of make love. For some reason, it wasn't playing on his myspace so I found it on youtube.

Anoop signed with JS2 Communications and will release a single in the spring.
Elliott tweeted to Anoop recently. I am dying for those two to work together!

On NYE, Anoop announced on WRAL tv that he is releasing an album in April.
So single in March or April, then a whole album in April. :awe:

HI Yall, Yes Elliott tweeted Anoop a few days before his tour saying he wanted to hang out with Anoop before he gos on tour Jan 1st. Its brilliant Anoop got to work with our greatest guitar player ever Russell Ali!!!! I know in the future Elliott & Anoop will do something together. I didn't know Elliott likes Anoop. I really do think our Funky White Boy Elliott is a way better singer then Anoop!!!! I really didn't like Anoop on American Idol & he was one of the wild cards they brought back. I'm not really an Anoop fan, but I hope he does great in the music business. I think there will never ever be an American Idol that has the kind of voice Elliott has!!!! That smooth raw soulful R & B voice!!!! I'm Not saying Anoops not a nice guy, but I just don't like his style of singing. Thats great what ever Russell & Elliott can do to help some one out with there music career is brilliant like YAMIN it!!!! Its soooo awesome to learn from the best in the business!!!!

Even if you didn't like Anoop on AI, you should listen to him now. He is soooooo good! His best srtuff was not on the show. His single "My Name" (which he co-wrote with sesaon 6's Brandon Rogers) will be out in March.

His 6 song EP "All Is Fair" will be released in May.

Possibly a tour in there somewhere.

Anoop and Josh Hoge are working together again. Anoop has recorded a song that was written by Josh and Chris Richardson and the guys have posted a snippet of it on YouTube. Even though the audio quality isn't the greatest, it sounds really, really interesting.

I was watching a rerun of ''Dinner Impossible'' on Food Network. It was at Anoop's college. Anoop was one of the helper chefs. The asignment was for Chef Irvine to get the food from the dorms and make gourmet food. Most dorm students had things like ramen noodles , canned soup and cheese balls- pure junk. Somehow, the chef pulled it off. Anoop just smiled and did what he was told to do. Did anybody see it?

I agree that it is very catchy too. I can definitely hear it on SYTYCD and in the clubs too. For some reason though I thought about the PussyCat Dolls and Nicole Scherzinger throughout the song but I like it. I kindof dig Anoop's new look too. He's sexy in a nerdy kindof way... :lol:

I'm relieved because I did not like the version of "My Name" that he did at the Malan Breton fashion show. This version sounds miles better - infectious beat. Still prefer the snippet of "Lost & Found" that he previewed on YouTube that was written by Josh Hoge & Chris Richardson, but what do I know (I didn't really care for Wait For You on first listen :headsmack:). LOL at the "Anooooop's" at the end of the song - boy has an ironic sense of humour.

Just listened to the EP and it's really good, but just like Elliott's Fight For Love, I'm afraid All is Fair is not going to get much attention because Anoop is an independent artist too.
