David Archuleta’s “Christmas from the Heart”

Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta will release his holiday album entitled Christmas from the Heart on Tuesday, October 13. The CD includes Christmas songs you have heard before and some new Christmas tunes that David recorded. On his official website, the Utah native announced today that he'll be going on a Christmas from the Heart tour. The tour will kick-off in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 24th, and end on December 20th in Westbury, New York.

Last November, David released his self-titled debut album, which started off strong at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified Gold in January. David returned to the American Idol stage during a Season 8 results show to sing “Touch My Hand,” a single off his debut album.

I like this song. If it's any indication of how the Christmas album will sound, I must have it. And, I'm thrilled to see he'll be performing in a city near me during the holidays. I missed him the last time he came to town, so I hope I'll be able to go to the Christmas concert.
