I was listening to my local AC station yesterday afternoon during the PD's shift. After he played CKOLY he announced that it was the song receiving the most online requests last week. :hooray: And not one of them was mine!! :) It's doing that well totally on its own.

A friend of mine told me this evening that a lady she works with heard it on her local station in Tappahannock (sp), VA. No play in Richmond that I know of yet - so distressed!!

I agree. :lol:
I think the main factor is that people are actually getting a chance to hear it at some time other that 2-5 AM, although they can hear it then too. It gets 3 spins/day M-F, at least on most days that I've listened. It always gets an afternoon spin and then another one approximately 7 hours later and one during the midnight-6AM slot. People hear it; they love it.

I'm in Hattiesburg, MS, but the station has studios in both Laurel and Hattiesburg, two cities about 30 miles apart.
