Now I've always liked Carly. This might work IMO.

Wow, that sounds *great* for Carly, to me.

As one of the three dozen or so people who actually own Carly's first album, I am really impressed with her ability. But that's a pop record -- a really good pop record, I think -- but I know she wants to go more in the rock direction. Evanescence seems like it could be a good fit. I'm excited -- being on Idol has really done something good for her now!

WOW! Always loved Carly & Evanescence, so glad they joined forces. I was so bummed when Amy left the band. Looking foward to hearing some music from them!

Oh, so she's not replacing Amy Lee, but just forming another new band with former Evanescence members. Good for her! I always liked Carly... hope it works out well for all of them.

I thought Carly was FANTASTIC when I saw her at the AI concert. I know she was famous for really belting out a song, but I also thought she had a lot of control shown more so earlier in the show. I think she'll do very well, not as a mimic of Amy Lee, but with the same sort of control. I wish her the best... she's too good to just disappear.

Yeah, I think so too. Her first album that nobody bought shows a lot of vocal control, many vocal colors, and so on. She's definitely got the goods. Don't really know why she didn't show that on AI.

I'm a fan of Carly's too. I really hope she succeeds with this new group. It sounds like a good fit.
