i thought i read somewhere earlier that "when i'm gone" would be on the japan album and the cd should've been released by now. has anyone heard or found it anywhere on the internet? thanks in advance!

I heard a clip of it, and it's another really awesome track, imo. I think Elliott should have just had a 20 track album...seriously. 20 is a nice round number.

Heck, I didn't even know about this song! Surely SOMEONE has a link to it, so we can hear the entire song. We managed to do so for all the other songs. Or am I being too greedy? (hell with it, when it comes to Elliotts' music, I AM greedy! LOL) Obviously I would love to purchase the single, but until I am able to, being able to actually listen to my future purchase in its' eniterety would be nice.

It appears that When I'm Gone can now be found on the internet if you do some digging. I got a Google Alert on some site that had it for download, but I didn't investigate.

I've heard the song. I think it's cute and catchy, but I wouldn't place it in my top 25% of the new songs. But as I've said before, all these songs are really good in my opinion. Even the ones that didn't wow me at first I really enjoy listening to now that I've gotten to know them better. What a great album!

I have heard it and find it very catchy. It has a great beat with lot of words! I like it a lot but I love some of his other songs better like Shelter and This Step Alone.

Yes, I agree that When I'm Gone is very catchy but it is also very different. I actually love all of the bonus tracks just as much as the 12 tracks on the cd. This just shows how versatile and creative Elliott is as an artist. No "one trick pony" here.
