Elliott is in the May 15th issue of Entertainment Weekly on the last page. Every week EW has a feature they call The Bullseye. It says "Here's a look at the pop culture news that was right on target this week--and the events that missed the mark." There is a picture of a big bullseye and little pics of people in the entertainment industry. The little pics of people are placed with an arrow all over the bullseye, with the most praise-worthy things in the middle.

Well, our boy made it on the bullseye right at the farthest edge! Can you guess why? There is a pic of Elliott singing, probably from the F4L video, and it is captioned "Elliott Yamin's new mullet."

So--is this good or bad? Is any publicity good publicity? Discuss here!

Hairband Elliott in the bullseye? Shocking that it's for the alleged mullet, and NOT the hairband, but if people watch the video and start singing the song, I guess we can live with it......right?

Whoever gave Elliott that haircut is probably mortified, but Elliott could probably care less.

I believe Elliott has had this hair cut for a while.

I don't know, but at this point in time, I am digging Buster. It's all Elliott's fault. That mullet thing? Nah. Buster! Buster! Buster!

He has had that haircut for a while. That was mentioned in the video thread I believe (once by me :)). EW is the one making all the fuss about the mullet. Wasn't it an EW article that someone made him aware of in the Surprise Chat and he said something about never being bashed about a mullet before. LOL Yep he could care less.

But honesly, you wonder why EW is making a big deal about it.

I wish I could scan it, but FYI, Elliott is on the same bullseye as Leonard Nimoy, Madonna (she is on the far edge, too), Hugh Jackman, Matthew McConaughey, Susan Boyle, and Paula Abdul, so all in all I think it could be a good thing for him to be in such company.

Oh, and Denise Richards, Jenny McCarthy, and Matthew McConaughey are actually OFF the bullseye due to their criticism, so Elliott is not being criticised the most.

I saw that! It made me giggle, and I think it's a good thing. It gets his name out there, and who knows - people might even check out his video to see the hair! :P

i think you're right - i'm sure there are plenty of people who would do that.

Well then I guess EW should blame this guy lol. Personally I like the haircut. I've never been picky about the hair. Ask my son. It's a form of expression.

I think the news is drawing people to the video, and if they listen, they'll be hooked.

I love that Elliott is on their radar to be bullseyed! Great timing too. I am with the thinking that any publicity is good publicity in regards to getting his name back out in the mainstream!

I am not a fan of the fauxhawk (upon further review, that ain't a legit mullet...see Billy Ray Cyrus, circa Achy Breaky Heart, for a true mullet...or Joe Dirt), but it ain't on my head, so I really don't care. Hell, he could shave his head bald, so long as he keeps releasing new music, I am happy! :)

If they are talking about Elliott , he is getting some attention. Many stars get negative attention and glad because Elliott can handle it and will use it to his advantage.
