Description: Very impressive

There's no denying that Elliott has a great voice but he continues to amaze me with his uplifting spirit and positive spins on things. I think it would be a nice tribute if we listed some of the statements and actions that made the deepest impressions on us. I'll start with two:
When I met Elliott in New Orleans I stupidly blurted, "I bought your album for my sister and she said 'I didn't hate it as much the second time I listened to it.' (Me, thinking to myself: "Oh dear, did I actually say that") Elliott: A big grin, two thumbs up and "Alright!!!"
Last night in chat after reading the EW article about his video:
"WOW!!!. I HAVENT SEEN THIS TIL NOW!...THIS IS AWESOME!...IVE NEVER ACTUALLY BEEN MULLET BASHED BEFORE!.....YES!!

:elliottcap: The way Elliott is a role model and great spokesperson for JDRF is inspiring. That he gives his time and energy to this cause. On a more personal level it is how Elliott, when you meet him in person, makes his fans feel special, and takes the time to actually talk and listen to each person. When we saw him again in Colorado Springs at the 98.9 invitation only concert we told him we gave him a fan with an electronic message on it at his last appearance in Colorado, and he said he remembered it, and said what was on it, and said he loved it. Talk aboutn cloud 9. So besides his Heavenly voice :thud: Adorable personality :rocker: & being the nicest celebrity ever :awe: We will forever and always be huge Elliott fans!!! :fangirly:

When my husband and I met Elliott after a concert back in the fall of 2007, I remember wondering if he would be just as upbeat and friendly by the time we reached him as he appeared to be to the people who were at the front of the long line that we were standing in. Although we were initially up front, we ended up being near the end after the security personnel switched the location where Elliott was going to stand to meet fans.
Anyway, he had just put on an amazing show, so I knew he was probably exhausted. But, much to my surprise, he was extremely friendly and outgoing and made each person feel as though they were the only ones in the room. He even remembered meeting my husband before the show outside and jokingly commented that he "made it in." While he signed the t-shirt--which I still happily wear :)--and photo I'd bought, I made a comment that I'd be praying for God to sustain him and keep him healthy during the tour and he responded, "And, He will."
The whole world would be a happier place if more people would try to keep a positive attitude about life, their circumstances, etc., like Elliott does.

He's so amazing. How can anyone not love him. I really don't see how he can keep track of all his fans the way he does. He really makes you feel appreciated. I've yet to hear anything negative come from his lips. How hard it would be for me to deal with some of those nasty DJ's. Yet he does it with such class. What a gem.
I have been inspired by him since his days on American Idol. He kept his postive outlook, never said a bad word to the judges when their critiques weren't so nice. He would come back the next week with such gusto. Never letting anything get him down.
I also see a lot of his Mom in him, rest in peace Claudette. She taught him well and he follows in her footsteps. I think he should write a book, The Power of Positive Thinking... oh wait that title was taken already.
