Description: Spoiled Frat Boy? Or Not?

Here's a link to a five part Idolatry interview with Anoop by Michael Slezak of Entertainment Weekly. Slezak started out the season as an Anoop fan, but his love waned as the weeks went by. Yah I know it's long (about 16 minutes), but if you've ever wanted to see how AI and the judges can manipulate the public's perception of someone, watch it.

Suffice it to say, but I think Slezak's Anoop love has been revived. Anoop comes across as an extremely aware, intelligent and thoughtful young man who doesn't have a bad thing to say about anybody. He also has quite a humourous side that we never really saw on the show.
Also love this short clip that shows he had the judges' numbers from the moment he auditioned.

Thanks, midge, for the link to Slezak's interview. I loved Anoop from day one and was saddened that he left before some others who I felt were less talented. I guess he just didn't have a strong enough fan base. Anoop comes across as intelligent, articulate and confident. I hope he goes far.

My Anoop love is complete. He's following Elliott on Twitter and he twittered this last night:
Holla at my boy @elliottyamin and go and get the new album! (LOL - bad Anoop - he spelled Elliott wrong in his original tweet.)
http://twitter.com/AnoopDoggDesaiAnoop also twittered that Paula has arranged for Scott MacIntyre to get a guide dog. How wonderful - I wonder if he'll have to wait till after the tour.
Misty - I love the clefhanger videos too. Did you see Anoop singing Crazy Love with Amos Lee? Here's the clip
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD1EDabSqQ4EDITED TO ADD Anoop's latest tweet where he fixed the spelling of Elliott's name says that he's HOPEFULLY putting an album out this summer! I'm a bit confused because I thought all the Idols were contracted to 19E until the end of the tour. The only former Idol who put an album out that fast was Kristy Lee Cook and that was because 19E signed her - has Anoop been signed??? (which would make no sense given the way he was dismissed on the show most of the time - unless TPTB have visions of an international idol because I've read that Anoop has a huge following in Asia.

Thanks Midge. I love Anoop too! I got tour tickets to see him ( and Adam)
Simon wasn't very nice to Kristy Lee last year and they signed her so fast. Maybe it's the same with Anoop. He's a gazillion times better than Kristy Lee though.
That was sweet of Paula. Underneath it all, Simon is a nice guy too. He paid for season 2 winner of Britain's Got Talent, 15 year old dancer, George Sampson's education. The official prize from that show was only money and singing for the Royal Family.
Someday, it would be really cool if Elliott and Anoop would do a duet.
