There's this great series on BBCAmerica on Sunday nights called Any Dream Will Do. Young men are competing to be cast as Joseph in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
It's like American Idol, but without all the glitz. The guys are being trained in singing and acting to land the lead role of Joseph. Whoever wins will be performing in the West End in London, eight shows a week, so they need to be able to handle all that.

I believe there are seven left right now. I really like these guys. You can't vote, because the show is at least a year old I believe, and you would have to have been in the UK, but it's fun to watch. You learn about their lives and their relatives, and some of these guys are really, really good!

The judging panel has four judges, one of whom is John Barrowman, whom I love. Then, besides the judges, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber himself is there (who wrote the musical back in the 60's). He offers his own critiques, and at the end of each episode, he listens to a sing-off of the bottom two and chooses which one he is going to save.

Has anyone seen it? I highly recommend it; I got hooked right away!

I've heard of this, seen the ads, but haven't been able to catch it (typical!). Is it still on? I know it's not On Demand...I've checked :(

Yep! It's still on, on Sunday nights on BBCA. I love this show. I'm pulling for these boys with all my heart. They are down to the final four this coming Sunday. I really hope you see it!
