HI Ya'll, I remember Last year our Mama Yamin was at the JDRF Gala in Richmond, VA! I know she will be there in spirit as she is with Elliott and all of us all the time! I wonder witch Etrainers from Richomd, VA will be attending the JDRF Gala 2009? I hope there are recaps and pics? Last year our "Funky White Boy" Elliott was lookin fine in a Black Tux! I think often about Elliott having to deal with diabetes day in and day out. My brother also has (type 1) diabetes and two of his three kids also have it. I googled "diabetes and heredity" and found an interesting fact ...

Elliott was so very happy last night. Everyone loved him! Poor thing was being pulled here and there for interviews and pics.

Yes, he did help again with the auction. He was a hoot! Acting like a child himself! His excitement was contagious. They auctioned off a Honda lawn mower first - Elliott would come mow your lawn, but they couldn't promise how much, lol! I was going to bid on the brunch, but the bidding started at $1,000! He went for $2,000!! Elliott said he would bring his computer to brunch so they could hear his new CD. He sang Fight For Love, Know Better, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and WFY.

I noticed that many people gave him pics from last year. They were pics of Mama Yamin and Elliott. So touching.

So much money was raised for a great cause last night and Elliott had a lot to do with that! :elliottelliott:

Thanks for the photos and videos. Elliott looks wonderful and sounded amazing singing FFL. One little nit-pick... what the heck is wrong with some people? How can they be chatting while Elliott is singing so gloriously? Geesh!

I am so sad I couldn't make it this year. I had a blast last year! Darn that friend for scheduling he wedding the same night!!!

That pick of B & E is the absolute best... truly captures the coolness of both of them! :)
