Title: Question About Topic Titles
Linda4Elliott - March 4, 2009 09:00 PM (GMT)
Is it possible to change something (coding or whatever?) so than when someone starts a topic which needs more than one capital letter, such as radio station call letters, or song abbreviations (FFL) it would actually appear in caps?
It bothers my obsessive compulsive nature ;)

I thought I was the only one who felt that way LOL

It's a public service intended to assist you with the texting generation which doesn't appear to know what a capital letter is........just kiddin'
We've looked into this before. I can't remember what the problem is. Something about preventing posters from using all caps in thread titles.

Thanks, sk8888 It's not really a big deal, just a tiny bit annoying (to me and eycdfan!! lol)
I'll live.

I don't know how many who start topics would actually type in caps, but my guess it would be far fewer than the number of times initials in all caps are being used in topic titles.
Sk8888, would it be possible to shut this feature off on a trial basis to see if typing in all caps in titles is a problem?

We now have capital letters!!
Thank you OFE!
