and let's all be "rabid" yet patient...sometimes it takes a while for songs to make it up the charts, as we all know (they can't be all Kelly Clarkson and go #1 their first week).
The Plain White T's, for example, released their new single "1,2,3,4" way back in October and it is STILL snaking its way up the radio and iTunes charts. Of course, perfect synergy means we need F4L to hit it really big before the album drops in May.

Kelly Clarkson's single is all over the place at the moment. I have to admit it's a catchy little tune and HAPPY as heck in tone except for the words which totally belie the music and are incomprehensible throughout her wailing other than "my life would suck without you" and that's only because I already knew the title. Spring is coming and radio wants to play upbeat, happy and major key jams. And with prom season right around the corner I'm betting a song like FFL will be just the ticket.

My advice:
Don't call yet. Wait for them to give it a spin, which Blossom (or someone else) will post on this forum as soon as we know. And THEN start calling. The best case scenario is that you call the station immediately after they play it and say, "What was that song you just played? I really liked it!" or something like that. But it's also good to go, "Hey, can you play that new Elliott Yamin song I heard the other day?" or something along these lines. I was told by the promo folks themselves that these types of calls have the biggest impact.
Also: don't mention allaccess or this forum or anything else that makes you sound like a radio insider. Just be yourself--someone who listens to the station and likes the song and wants to hear it again.
Glad to hear we have someone in the region there! Maybe they'll play the song this week.
