The new dance pairs have been announced.

Two new dancers from SYTYCD join the cast. Dmitry and Chelsie. Yeah! Poor Lacey paired with Steve-O, well it definately won't be boring LOL.

The entire season eight lineup is as follows:

You know who would be great to get on the show? Steve Colbert! He would seriously try to win too.

Guess she changed her mind since she's dancing with her boyfriend. LOL

I think Colbert would be great too. I think Steve Wozniak will be gone early as well which might suit Karina since she has a wedding to plan. LOL

I am having a tough time picturing that.
Back in the late 80's, the Giants had their summer camp about a mile from my house. I used to bring all the kids(my own, and the neighborhood kids )to watch them practice every day for like 3 weeks. Had a blast, and got to know many of the "gentle Giants", like Phil Simms, Joe Morris, Howrd Cross, Sean Landeta,
Lt was never exactly friendly, barely would talk to anyone.
Wonder what he's gonna be like, now 20 years later!

This is an interesting cast. Perhaps I'll watch the first episode this time around instead of waiting till half the season is over as I did last time lol.

What does everyone think of this? I'm a bit mixed.

It's going to be an interesting season. Jewel and her husband are competing against each other that will be fun to watch.

Good for her! Since she was a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, I am sure she will do well.

I only watch the show so I can see Maks......Oh Yes In Dededo!!!! He may be into himself too much but, he sure is nice to look at.

Melissa did well. I also watch the show to see Mark Ballas :awe: Chuck(Julianne's boyfriend) did well too

Based on the 2nd week of dances, my favorites are Melissa, Gilles and Shawn. I hope they will be in the finale!

Man, this group is already starting off the season with injuries! Almost seems like the show is jinxed. I duuno if I would dare be on the show, were I a pseudo celebrity, with all the injuries. geeesh!

This is Juliannes last season, apparently she is under contract through this season. I thought she & Chuck did alright tonight, better than the judges critiqed them about.

I like David Allen Grier, he is better than I thought he would be.

LOVE Shawn & Melissa, they are doing great so far!!

Denise is eh, I just don't care for her.

LT is doing well, I think he will get better if he gets the chance.

The others aren't really standing out, so I guess they are all OK in my short term memory bank. LOL

Don't you like Gilles (the naked guy from the Sex and the City movie)? :thud: I think he's a great dancer! I'm getting bored with Cheryl Burke but she does do great choreography and brings out the best in her partners.

^^ Gilles Marini is ok with me too, AND he's a good dancer. I didn't even know who he was before this show. His only competition thus far may be Melissa, Lil Kim and Shawn.
It's too bad about Steve O's injury, maybe they're setting the bar too high for these non-dancers to come out doing cartwheels and acrobatics.

I enjoyed Corkey and Cloris last night. She might not be a great dancer , but she's one heck of an entertainer.

Actually, I do like Gilles, I just am not that familiar with him. I am not a Sex in the City fan (haven't watched an episode yet) so I had no clue who he was. He is a great dancer tho & Cheryl is having fun finally! :)

Gilles and Cheryl are one awesome dance team. I'd like to see them, Melissa, or Lil Kim win.

Gilles was amazing last night during the Argentine Tango. He really looked like he was a professional dancer.

Gilles and Lil Kim were great with the tango. I had to laugh at poor Dimitry with his good idea for using the stool in his choreography, but there was a slight problem with the execution and Holly's graceful klutz move off the stool. I think he thought he would make it easier for her.

Was watching Idol and forgot to turn to DWTS.
