Title: New Etrain Site Look

Thanks to Gracestreet and itslate for our new look.
You'll see little tweaks over the next few days.
If you have some feedback, include your browser information and display configuration.

I'm using Fire Fox but have no idea what display configuration even means. LOL.
I am having difficulty seeing the text... it seems smaller to me, and the gold boxes are definitely a distraction to me... it's not easy reading the print written there. I've got a new eyeglass prescription, so maybe it's just these old tired eyes. LOL

I'm on FF and Safari back and forth at the moment.
Not sure what font is being used in the Forum Headers, but the letter "i" looks a lot like the letter "l." It's a little difficult to distinguish the white space between the dot for the "i" and the lower part of the letter, so on my display, and to my tired eyes it looks like Elllott instead of Elliott.
Gosh, I'm really loving the colors.

When I go to reply the board widens past my 17 inch monitor. And the banner is no longer centered, it moves to the right along with the link buttons. I don't remember this happening before.

Actually, the only changing of the font size has been upwards per a lot of peoples' requests; I didn't change any of the actual font families at all. I used the existing style sheet and just changed the colors.
Sk8888, I'm not sure what you mean by Forum Headers?

Do you think it's because of the change to the smilies box?
Sk8888 - February 12, 2009 06:59 PM (GMT)
Okay, I logged in via the Yahoo browser and I'm on a larger display, and I can see the definition in the letter "i'"s so much better. I'll compare later to see if the problem is my laptop display.
I can also see the "reply" buttons a lot better.

I just got back to the computer... you must be changing them as I type GS :). Yes the banner looks better now centered, and the red bars too. They were going off center , to the right, when you were in the reply area. This was also happening in the forums where large pictures were posted.
The horizontal scroll bar in the reply area (body) is now gone from the bottom of the page. The smilies still have one. The box must have been longer before the change, to fit them. I can't remember how they used to fit :).
Thanks
eta: I liked the color of the gold buttons, but I can see the darker ones are easier to read. There is also a delete button you might want to look for. IT LOOKS FANTASTIC!

I love the new look :rocker:

Maybe we should have one of those twisted letter codes that people have to copy to get their post to go through. Just to make sure everybody's sane, sober, and undrugged when they post.

^^
That's funny, but we all know that wouldn't work because we're all slightly insane when it comes to Elliott.

How about a multi quote button? That way someone could reply to a few posts at once instead of sometimes double & triple posting on the same threads.

I'll research it but, off the top of my head, I've only seen it on the paid version of Invision Board (maybe v.2 and up), unfortunately.

This site is really lagging now, I hope this is only temporarily - it was working great early this morning.
