Though there weren't many votes in the first two polls, I find the results interesting in that everyone who responded first heard Elliott either in the Hollywood Week segments or the semifinals of AI Season 5 and the reaction of the majority was OMG! Interesting, but not surprising. :)

OOPS. Sorry that I didn't make it clearer. On the home page is a block on the forum. You can either click on the underlined Forum (it's a link) or the highlighted here (it's also a link).

I'm going to try to have a topic-specific chat tonight starting at 8 PM Eastern. I originally had the Chat set so that guests could enter just by giving a screen name and then I saw all of the stuff that was being posted on Elliott's Myspace Chat and decided to change it to registered. I will be happy to change it back to allowing guests to enter the topic-specific chats that are scheduled in case there are some who would like to chat but who do not want to register. I'll go and change it just as soon as I finish this post.

Well, the scheduled chat was a flop last night, but I'm persistent. Umm, some would say stubborn. :) One person did show up, but that was after I had already given up. I'll have the chat window open in the background starting now as I work on doing some more organizing of the forum. The link is in the post before this one.

This week's poll is also in slow motion (right now more like no motion) as only 11 people have responded so far.

Well, the latest poll didn't draw much interest; the few times that someone showed up to chat, I missed them; I can't seem to figure out the settings to send email to my forum members; but to quote Josh Turner (one of my favorite country singers) "Everything is Fine." :) I promise to check on the chat room at least every 10 minutes tonight, so if you're bypassing other parties tonight, we might achieve a mini-party in chat, or not. :lol:

You don't have to be registered to chat. Just give yourself a user name and ignore the password block.
