A patient in the waiting room where my sister works got a phone call and her cell had an Elliott song for the ring tone! Sis asked her about it and the patient didn't know who Elliott is (unheard of!) Her brother had given her the phone and put the song on it. :elliottcap:

My sister and I have had different Elliott ringtones. At first she had "Moving On" and I had "Wait For You". I got a new phone and got "You are the One" and of course My Twin got "Alright". It is so great to hear his songs when our phones ring. We are waiting for the day we run across someone else with an Elliott ringtone!!!!

I have Moody's Mood for love as my ring tone. When I got a new phone this summer I kept the same ring tone. I just love it-- it's the song that made me love Elliott so I don't want to ever part with it.

I never have my phone any where near me-- it's always in my purse. So I can hear the sweet strains of Elliott singing... :music: There I go, there I go, there I go... :music:

chloewannabe...thanks for reminding me. I am very lucky to have cardboard E. funny thing though, for two years I kept E in my living room and he scared all my neighbors and family at first glance. I had lost my beloved dog, Bingo, back in April, I was without a pet until July, then I thought it was time to get another one. I went out to our local animal shelter and ask them "Which dog has been here the longest?" (our shelter is a "no kill" facilty) They brought out this black, longlegged Chow Chow mix that had been there for 4 years.. To make a long story short, when I brought her home, she wasn't thrilled about E in my living room. I had to move him to my bedroom (whoo hoo) Just kidding. I gave my daughter's friend (18yo) one of my extra Sounds of the Season cd from last year because she LOVES Christmas music. She about died and went to heaven. Just doing my part, introducing Elliott to the younger generation (younger than mine anyway.)

My sister told me that she had a dream about Elliott! I asked her to tell me about it then here's what she gave me:

In an unknown urban area (unknown because my dream isn't that detailed), restaurateurs and bar owners were apprehensive because of the news that Elliott is establishing a bar within said area. How can they compete with a well-known personality like him? For sure the crowd will flock to his bar rather than go to a small watering hole owned by a virtual unknown. The restaurateurs and bar owners were discussing about this one afternoon.

Witnesses said that it was confirmed that Elliott is the buyer of a huge property to be converted into a bar where he is expected to visit and perform regularly. Elliott was thinking of a catchy name to call his bar. One suggested that he use his initials EY to make it known that the bar is indeed Elliott Yamin's. Elliott didn't like the idea. He isn't going to presume that people know him as Elliott Yamin, the singer who was discovered via American Idol. Those who don't know him might take the initials EY to mean Egg Yolk! Elliott chuckled at this thought.

After serious thought, he resolved to call his bar "E". E for his first name - Elliott...E for entertainment. E for Excitement. E for Everything (since the bar offers a variety of things)... and E for Everyone because everyone is invited to come over.

Then she woke up.

It's Monday morning and I just got to work. When I sat at my desk, I heard the familiar strains of Little Drummer Boy....by ELLIOTT!!! I was about to flip out, when I realized I had left my cd player on ALL weekend! I have the cd on repeat, so I'd better get myself a backup. This one might be worn out! :chloe:

I have an Elliott ring tone too, "Wait For You". :) my husband didn't understand why I have it but it does help me to know when someone is calling :)

Sometimes it confused people to get a song instead of a ring when calling me, so I recorded a message. Now someone calling me hears my voice say "Hi, while you're waiting for me to answer, please enjoy this song by Elliott Yamin" - and then Movin On plays! :elliottcap:

I had a dream with Elliott in it last night. It's really short and pretty weird but I just thought I'd share...

There was a reality TV show that featured Elliott and there was a contest prior to the episode where Elliott's fans could join and seven of them would win a little dinner with Elliott himself. I was one of those seven fans and at one point of my dream he knew who I was because of the typographic portrait that I did earlier this year. So segment 1 of the show starts and it shows the seven of us and Elliott entering a little house and gathering around a round table. And then we talked for a little bit and he gave us little tokens. Guess what? A High School Musical poster and a VHS tape of the movie. :blink: :rotfl: And then I woke up.

Bummer, I didn't know what would have happened next. But that High School Musical part just killed me. I've never seen the movie, and am not that interested in it so I wonder why in the world did that movie ever make it to my dream! But I can't stop thinking what would have happened next if I just hadn't woke up after the 1st segment of the show. :bricks:

Totally random and totally bizarre - I just clicked on a link to a MySpace page dedicated to Abraham Biggs - the kid who just took his life live on webcam - and at the top of the page was an ad for Elliott ringtones. very weird - at first I thought I accidentally went to Elliott's MySpace.

It was a crowded day so lots and lots of people had to have heard it.
