Ooh, young Tom is so creepy! Michael Gambon gives a subtle performance in these scenes, but I think he's awesome anyway. I'm looking forward to see how the movie sells the relationship between Harry and Dumbledore--it's a MUST for this film. What do you guys think?

It looks like there were quick shots of Ginny and Ron in a scene where the Burrow was attacked. Didn't the attack actually happen in the 7th book, during Bill and Fleur's wedding? Does this mean that they cut that whole scene out of the next movie? We'll just have to wait and see how true to the book this movie will be.

In the meantime, I must re-read the book before November....did I mention that I can't wait??! :rotfl:

I read somewhere that the attack on the burrow is actually an added scene in this movie and not from the book. And that the actress that played Flur said she will NOT be in the Half-Blood Prince, so they may be thinking about not doing the whole wedding/attack scene from the last book. although i think that they need to do it its kinda important but i guess we will just have to wait and see!

Grrrrrrrr, that irritates me to no end. Why audition for a role that you KNOW will be recurring in the following films?!? I think all the actors/actresses should have to sign a contract that they will appear in all the films that require the character they play!

I am looking foward to seeing everything play out on screen!

In case you guys haven't heard...I just found out a cool bit of trivia about HP & HBP.

The actor who portrays young Tom Riddle is a 10 yr old boy named Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the nephew of none other than He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Ralph Fiennes! Now, is that perfect casting, or what? ;)

They might have moved things around. When does Bill get his scars? HPB or OOTP?

From what I read they are most certainly doing the wedding in Part 1 of DH, right where it belongs.

Bill gets attacked by Greyback in HBP, but I don't think Bill is even in the HBP movie. His character is not in the cast list on imdb.:(
I hope what you read about the wedding scene in DH is true! There's just too many rumors about HBP and the DH movies, we'll just have to wait and see. It's with the 'waiting' part I have the biggest problem! LOL!

I remember seeing it advertised for November '08. That's pretty odd. Maybe they don't want it anywhere near close to election time in the U.S. lol

Very, very little is being cut from DH. That is why it is two films. Each scene is pretty vital to the next.

actually, it's because the actor playing Harry Potter is appearing NUDE (oh my God! The horror!! LOL) on Broadway at the time. They don't want the images mixed.
EQUUS is quite clearly an adult play, and America is quite clearly too purintanical for its own good.
