Thank you for the links and photos. Nice that they offered condolences in the Access Hollywood video and Elliott (as always) had a wonderful response to the Idol question.

Oh! How I loved that video!! I have continued to pray and think of Elliott and I am so glad to see that he seems to doing ok. I am glad that he had something like this event to attend because it is the things in our lives that help us go on. And didn't Jaimie look awesome!? I guess I am referring to the blog picture now. I know that Claudette was very proud last night and smiling down on E.

Thank you so much for the video and pictures. It's so wonderful to see Elliott again and to hear something directly from his mouth. He looked and sounded well. Jaime looks beautiful. It was very nice of them to mention Claudette. He handled himself wonderfully and answered the questions well. I would LOVE to hear that performance since apparently it was so great according to the first blog. (of course it was!!! LOL) :elliottelliott:

The Access Hollywood video was great. Pretty cool that they *end* the video with Elliott, too, rather than burying him in the middle.

I also love the suggestion of that blogger who said that these are the places where up-and-comers get linked up with the big stars -- predicting an Elliott/JT collaboration. From blog's lips to the gods' ears...although I don't know that Timberlake would want to pit his voice against Elliott's. Anyway, a good honor and opportunity for Elliott to perform at this event.

I loved where Elliott added his own name to the list of the greats who were performing :rotfl: He handles interviews so well. I'm sure he made some lasting connections last night.

It was wonderful seeing that video this morning. Like everyone else, I'm so glad he's doing well and moving on (no pun intended) and that is exactly what Claudette would want him to do. :awe:

hhmmm......Quincy Jones got to hear that magnificant voice for himself, as well as many songwriters, and people who should give their right arm to duet with him. I can imagine that something really great could come from this event. GREAT event for him to attend and showcase that voice.

For me, that's totally awesome. Lionel Richie was my favorite all time ever singer until Elliott.

Congratulations to Elliott. Now, he's really hit the big time.

Elliott posing in the middle of a picture with Quincy Jones, Lionel Ritchie, and Fergie. ... I don't think it gets any better than that, does it? This may be the best possible event for him to have attended.

And the fact that he and Sara Bareilles seem to have been the only up-and-coming performers speaks volumes, too, I'd say. (was there anybody else?) She's hot hot hot right now and poised to really take off, I believe, and he's right there with her. Too cool.

How many songwriters would kill to have a voice like Elliott's sing their work? I'll bet a lot of them were there last night.

He is just such a class act...

So good to see Elliott again! What an amazing venue for him to showcase his talent. I'm sure he impressed many and hopefully more doors will open as a result. He's the best and he deserves it!

Thank you, guys, for the video and the pics. It's good to see Elliott "at it" again despite his sad circumstances and to actually hear him say he's holding up better than he (and I) expected. It's also great to see him alongside these big names in the industry. Our boy will be alright. :)

Jaime is gorgeous, as usual. Elliott is doing well for himself, indeed. Of course, so is Jaime, no? ;)
