Title: Palominos
Description: All about Palominos, myspace, etc.

harleywoman - March 6, 2008 06:54 PM (GMT)
I decided to start a thread for the Palominos. They are a Richmond-based band managed by our very own Brandon Crowe. Last Friday night several E-Trainers got to hear this band at Toads (see Lights, Camera, Action thread) and really enjoyed them. I had already been to a couple of their shows. This band also had the opportunity to go to the 6th Annual Langerado Music Festival by obtaining enough votes and the E-Train helped. :rocker:

Here’s their myspace bulletin.

From: Palominos
Date: Feb 29, 2008 10:57 AM
Subject: LANGERADO/PALOMINOS WIN BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!

Body: Thanks to everyone who voted for us to open the Langerado Festival! Because of you we will be in sunny FLA. next week. Weather forcast: 84 and sunny. Hopefully we'll see you there. If not, we'll see you soon. Special thanks to our manager Brandon Crowe and the Etrain!!

Okay, I'm becoming the "Nancy" of the Palominos thread. :rotfl:

http://www.theworldforgot.com/

Memoirs of a Blogger : Langerado Day 1

First stop was the winner of the Sonicbids voting for who would open the festival. Palominos played a tight set that consisted of entertaining southern rock and they gave me a free CD after the show {which is always an easy way to win over the press.

Langerado Day 1: Wading Through The Muck

Of course, this sense of unity is only aided by a killer music lineup. The first day of Langerado was a relatively low key event, and the rain didn’t help much. Opener Ben Jelen was forced to cancel his set because the stage was underwater, but both Dead Confederate and Palominos were able to turn in inspiring sets despite the conditions.

Palominos will be playing The National on Aug. 22nd

I will have some tickets for sale with me at our show with Josh Hoge at the

Canal Club. Unless you know someone, getting your foot in the door at The

National is a hard thing to do. We'd appreciate it if you can make it.

Tickets are $12.

Thanks!

I just listened to this band for the first time! They rock! :rocker:

harleywoman - August 24, 2008 06:20 PM (GMT)
Palimonos were great at The Natiional the past Friday night. I was so excited when I saw my favorite song on their playlist. We were standing up front of course so I could actually read it. LOL. I had said something to Trey (lead singer) earlier about wanting to hear it. Don't know if it was already planned or not but I'm going to say it was there for me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :rotfl:

My sister calls the lead guitarist Mike "guirtar man". So during one song Trey leaned over and said something to Mike during a guitar solo. Next thing you know they came to the front of the stage and played right to her. She was so stoked. I loved it. So that's her story and she's sticking to it. :rotfl:

Hey, if you ever get a chance to listen to these guys, they are great.
