Thanks for posting these. I am totally hooked on this guy, He is amazing. Man, I'd love to hear the song Josh, Marc, Elliott and VaCo. wrote and recorded.

Josh has been in the studio recording his album and one evening Josh's producer, who is also Marc's producer I think, Marc, Elliott, and Virginia Coalition came over and they wrote a song together and recorded it. Josh said they are gonna try to think of a way for the fans to hear it. Josh talked about it in one of his latest blogs and so did VaCo.

Gypsy, thanks for those links. OMGosh, I can't even imagine the magic of that jam session. I pray to heavens above that somehow, somewhere this collaboration gets out for our consumption. It seems that that room was filled with some of the most talented musicians of this day and they arrived without their egos. How can you not love these guys, who have really become some of my all time favorite artists. I wish them all much success and happiness.

Can you imagine how Elliott must have been feeling? I would have to think it was a musican's dream come true. I'm absolutely thrilled for him and Josh.

Now that you mentioned it, he does resemble Jack Bauer , LOL! I think the hair style, hair color and profile are similar.

I've always loved TIOLI but now I love it even more. I'm new to Marc's music too Kary after I heard the new TIOLI I had to go search for more of Marc's music.

I'm in Lancaster, PA.
Sep 16th is a Tuesday. Sadly, I have a job. I TRY to go to the cocnerts on Saturdays. Or Fridays, so I only have to take one day off. I go to too many concerts to do many weeknights. That's why I'm driving three hours to Pittsburgh instead of going to the Philly/MD/WashDC shows that are closer to me. The one good thing about living in PA - I am close to several big cities so I have choices when a tour comes around.
By th e way - I used to live in NYC. That was nice too because EVERY tour stopped there.

I love Marc's song"Rock Steady" I'm slowly find Marc's music and the more I find the more I like it/

I like that song a lot too! It's a good uptempo by him. It's been on rotation in my car for a long time now ;).

Saw him last night and, WOW!!! he really was good!
Josh told us to get hi album,Carencro, he thinks it's Marc's best, but it was sold out before the concert was even over. So I'm gonna go to the store tomorrow to get it

I just ordered it off Amazon. There's a song on there that Lance and Lacey danced to on DWTS called "Let Me Leave". Apparently Lance is also a big Marc fan. Marc even blogged about it:

That man is incredible live!!!
I went to the Wash DC show on Nov 8th at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue. Okay, very weird seeing a concert in a synagogue! We sat in pews and the band was on the alter. Josh Hoge opned and don't even get me started on him! He is my absolute FAVORITE!! JOSH GOT A STANDING OVATION FROM MARC'S CROWD! Marc told Josh that has never happened before! But this is Marc's thread........



Marc came out by himself with a guitar and sat down. No announcement. Nothing. He just stared a song. Then the band comes out and they rock! The show builds and soon the audience is standing and dancing,. In a synagogue! I only know a few of Marc's songs, but I was caught up in all of it anyway. His fans are great! Very nice people. They know when to get up and dance. It was a lot of fun! Marc leaves the stage, but comes back for a two song encore. The first song was a ballad about his family and he started crying.



Unfortunately Marc does not stand around and sign autographs afterwards. It was only Josh in the lobby by the merch table, Good for Josh tho! He sold a bundle!! Marc's crowd is def Josh's crowd too!

A few of us were outside afterwards and Marc's tour bus was parked right in front of the venue. Marc got off the bus, so we went over to meet him. Cool guy!!




Then I saw Marrc and Josh again on Nov 13 in Baltimore. The venue holds 2,000, but only about 250 tickets were sold. WTF?? Must be the economy! Didn't matter because the crowd was really into both artists!! I video taped almost all of Josh's set and I was right at the front of the stage. Then I went to the back to hang out with Josh so I was not right up there for Marc's set. He blew me away again tho!! I video taped one of his songs. I'll have to find that and post it here. H epalyed for a long time! He said he wasn't gonna stop until there were only 4 people left! I think there were about 20 of us at the end. This encore was many songs! He just kept going! Josh went onstage and sang with Marc on one song at the end. Sooooo good!! Those two together!! :thud:

So if you get the chance.....GO SEE THIS TOUR!!!

Thanks for posting the video links Daisy. I wanted to see him and Josh so badly in December in Delray Beach, FL. Actually, we planned on going after another event on the same night, but ended up unable to go.

I checked in myspace and saw that Marc posted a blog and a link to him performing Evangeline Rose on KTLA morning news.
